Designer Dozen

With this mix of hatching eggs you get such a wonderful variety of colors out of the hens.  Blue, light brown, green, chocolate, and a darker green.  Our Olive eggers are F1...meaning the first generation of crossing.  We write the letters on the eggs to identify what breed they are (B for Beilefelder). 

The egg shell does not always indicate what color the hen will lay.  For example the Beilefelder/Cream Legbar cross is a blue egg, but will produce a light green egg layer.
